This is a FANTASTIC little machine. I have been making compost around the clock for the last 6 months and am just loving it. My plants love it too. I strongly recommend this product for anyone who is serious about composting. Don't bother with the regular buckets and tumblers because they just don't work and are nearly expensive.

Cool concept! More people should compost, even if they are too lazy to build a compost pile and feel the need to spend money on a machine to do it for them.

I love my Naturemill. I've had it for about a year. It really cuts down on kitchen trash. Now I don't have to take out the stinky trash every couple days - just twice per month for the compost, and there is basically no trash left to take out because we recycle almost everything else. Ours had a lot of trouble jamming at first. Then we realized it was paper. They do not recommend paper because even though it is biodegradable it is very tough and fiberous and will not break down.

I purchased one of these units about 2 months ago. I was disappointed to find the entire unit is cheaply constructed of a Styrofoam like material. After about a week the mixer jammed up and the unit self destructed. Naturemill replaced it and the second unit has never worked properly either. Naturemill has sent numerous replacement latch kits which has not corrected the problem. Naturemill's only solution is to send more replacement latch kits. I have asked for a refund and offered to return the unit at my cost. They said their policy is no refunds. I have disputed the charges with my credit card and I'm waiting for a response. Buyer Beware!!!
