I agree with you in saying many people need to get over their addiction to consumerism however I doubt very much that anyone reading this blog will be influenced unduly by this particular post.

When I said it might not be practical for some people to buy used furniture - that includes people in a business environment whose concern for their image or time limitations would stop them from going to the thrift store to get their furniture. IMHO, It's better they buy something as green as possible as a second best eco-friendly option.</description>

Second hand furniture is not practical only when people stop buying new furniture and since hardly anyones stopping their addiction to consumerism, second hand furniture is practical. Shame on you for giving reason to those who are shallow and weak.</description>
