		<description>Crazy that lawyers waste so much time and money to 
make such laws.  My understanding is that the rain water running off the roof can be quite nasty if it runs over chemically treated roof tiles, bird shit, and sits in a barrel for a long time.  The concern is that people will drink it or water food plants with it I guess. Birds would never naturally poop near the radishes I am sure!</description>

		<description>I live in Colorado and perhaps this may apply to other Western states as well, but, collecting roof/gutter run-off in a barrel is actually ILLEGAL here!  It is considered "interfering with the downstream flow of water", in the same manner of damming the stream and keeping your neighbors water.  

It's a great idea, and I can't see anyone getting arrested for it, but be sure to ask around before you get arrested by the water police!</description>
